Altmışlı yaşlarına gelen Michael Corleone, geçmişinin gölgesinden sıyrılıp suç dünyasından uzak bir gelecek kurmaya çalışır. Potansiyel halefi Vincent’ın ortaya çıkışı Michael’a umut verir; ancak bu yakınlaşma onu yeniden şiddetin içine çekebilir. Mario Puzo’nun özgün vizyonunu öne çıkarmayı amaçlayan bu yeniden düzenleme, Baba Bölüm III’ü farklı sahne ve ses tercihleriyle sunuyor.
